While "best" is always going to be subjective based on needs and price preferences, the most popular Mitsubishi model is the Outlander. Between its 7-passenger capacity, quality materials, stylish design, and quality tech, the Outlander is a great choice for just about any SUV shopper out there.

+

One of its strongest selling points for Mitsubishi is their warranty package. It's built to deliver peace of mind, long-term value, and assurance that the vehicle will be supported well beyond the day you drive it off the lot. It offers a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty covering engine internals, transmission, and other parts. A 5-year/60,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty protects against general defects. Additionally, Mitsubishi models have rust protection for 7 years / 100,000 miles.

+

Depending on your family size, all Mitsubishi models can be good for families. We would recommend either the Outlander Sport or the Eclipse Cross for families with smaller children only. The Outlander and Outlander PHEV offer 3 rows and 7 seats, so they would work for a larger family. The 3rd row seating is best kept for smaller children, but the second row comfortably handles larger passengers.

+

Yes, some Mitsubishi models do offer towing. The Outlander has the highest capacity at 2,000 lbs. The Outlander PHEV and Eclipse Cross both offer 1,500 lbs, while the Outlander Sport does not have towing capabilities.

+

All Mitsubishi models would fall into a good value category, with 3 different models offering a starting price under 30,000. If you had to pick a specific model, we would say the Outlander offers a lot of great features at a price that will be hard to beat when you consider everything included.
